The medicinal mushroom Hericium erinaceus is a powerful immunomodulator with many medicinal properties. It is called «Lion’s mane» for its appearance and «smart mushroom» for its stimulating effect on cognitive abilities and brain function. The mushroom has an immune strengthening, neuroprotective, antitumor, and gastroprotective effect thanks to biologically active substances: beta-glucans, polysaccharide peptides, polysaccharides, and neuroactive components.
